Place-Based Game Design… um? What was that again?

Exactly!  This mobile game was created collaboratively by students, teachers, and professionals in the marketplace.  The mobile game used physical places and handled real-world problems using adventure scenarios.  Check out the full Educause Article here.

This picture displays wikipedia content as an overlay to the actual landscape, (this technique is also referred to as Augmented Reality – thought that also encompasses other things.)
