ShareStream Demonstration & Open Lab

sharestream

Come to the Open Lab and give ShareStream a try! ShareStream is a streaming media management solution.  It gives faculty the ability to place video into Blackboard without assistance, and without taking up tons of space. There will be two ShareStream Quick Start Open labs this summer. The first is on June 27th from 10:00 to 12:00 and the second is July 11th from 12:30 to 2:30.  Both session will be held in room 155 of the Metro Campus TLC.  Bring your video, (flv, swf, m4v, mov) and audio files, (wma, mp4, mp3, avi) so you can practice loading them!  Register in InSight today! See you there!

  1. While I would like to participate in the training, I would find it helpful to have one of the sessions offered at another campus or (preferably) to have opportunities at each campus. If this is not possible, I hope that a brief tutorial document or video can be available to assist faculty. Thank you for your consideration. –George Kanieski

    1. Professor Kanieski,

Thank you for the comment! More sessions are in the works. We set up these two summer sessions to assist the ShareStream Beta participants and opened them to all faculty. The Beta group participants are providing feedback to inform our document and training creation process. I will email a doc on enabling ShareStream in your course and tutorial videos are available to you on the ShareStream page of the blog. https://elearningandinnovation.com/faculty-resources/sharestream/ We will share the results of the Beta group in the fall! Thanks for all you do!

      Susan
